Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the private cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Deploy and configure virtual machines, storage, networks, and security groups within the cloud environment.
  • Optimize the cloud infrastructure to maximize cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions and address technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design, develop, and implement Management Information Systems to support business processes.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Implement and manage security controls for the cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle patch management and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about security threats and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and execute data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure the regular and reliable backup of critical data and systems.
  • Monitor data backup processes and storage systems.
  • Perform data restoration and promptly resolve any backup issues.
  • Implement and configure monitoring tools to assess system performance and security.
  • Monitor server performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement security measures to ensure system stability and optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing private and public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, including storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing Management Information Systems.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, RHEL, VMware vSphere, etc.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or relevant scripting languages.
  • Sound understanding of security management practices and vulnerability handling.
  • Experience in data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of data monitoring and performance tuning methodologies.
