Poonam Mahtani joined Wellesley Partners in January 2008 as an Associate Director and specializes in search within Global Markets including Fixed Income Derivatives, Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Structured Finance, Leverage Finance and Private Financing.

Poonam started her career in Executive search in 2004 with Pelham Search Pacific where she was focused on Fixed Income and Debt Capital Markets mandates. She is highly experienced in managing the hiring process and offers both valuable insight and support to both candidates and clients.

Prior to joining Pelham, Poonam gained 10 years of experience in the business services industry. Working at an international logistics company in a managerial role, she was responsible for the global distribution of IPO documentation and other financial reports for major investment banks.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Poonam has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and is fluent in English as well as spoken Cantonese and Hindi.
