Oliver Darkes is the Managing Director and Country Head of Wellesley Partners Australia, having joined the business in November 2010. Oliver is responsible for covering our Investment Banking, Global Markets and Equities businesses.

Prior to joining Wellesley Partners Oliver was a Director with Carmichael Fisher, a leading Australian executive search firm, responsible for running their Front Office Banking practice. Oliver has spent the last 10 years recruiting in the Australian market, originating and executing senior search mandates with both International Investment Banks and Independent Advisory Firms.

Prior to relocating to Australia Oliver spent 5 years working in the Equity Derivative and Convertible Bond practice of Napier Scott Executive Search. Here he specialised in the completion of Pan-European search mandates covering the Sales and Trading market places.

Oliver holds a BA Hons in Business Information Systems from Nottingham University as well as a Certificate in Securities (SFA).
